Annie Potts
Annie Potts (innate October 28, 1952) is an American television and film actress. She was natural around Nashville, Tennessee and grew up within Franklin, Kentucky, where she graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School. She so received her Bachelor inside Fine Arts degree (within theater arts) from either Stephens College in Missouri. She is the girl of Powell Grisette Potts & Dorothy Harris (Billingslea) Potts & has 2 older sisters, Mary Eleanor (Potts) Hovious, & Elizabeth Grissette ("Dollie") Potts. She is probably better known for her roles in the Ghostbusters films and in the television sitcom, Designing Women, but has done the wide kind of large roles within each television & film. More luminary roles include a voice of Little Bo Peep in the Toy Story films, a supporting role in the John Hughes drama Pretty in Pink, and the recent guest-starring role on the CBS drama Joan of Arcadia.
Potts is married to TV director James Hayman & a mother of triad sons, Clay, Doc, & Harry. She continues as a dedicated graduate & Board Member of Stephens College. She has been subservient around fundraising efforts for the college for several years. Potts is presently a camping professor of Drama at the school.
